This home is a 1936 Tudor that was gutted and expanded prior to purchase. The home sat on an urban lot with very little useful outdoor space. One of the biggest upgrades was designing liveable, inviting outdoor spaces. We created a landscape plan and selected a variety of plant materials. We coordinated with contractors to replace the crumbling stairs and the retaining walls, build new seating areas and fences, and plant more greenery. The interiors were personalized with new lighting, window coverings, wall coverings, paint, and furniture. As always our design intent is to not only be beautiful but also be functional.
